Aggressive Pie Chart: 90% Stocks, 10% Bonds


The Investment Option seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation with very low income potential.


The Investment Option allocates approximately 90% of its assets to stocks and 10% of its assets to investment-grade bonds. This option invests in the following funds:

  • 31.50% Vanguard Institutional Index Fund (VIIIX)

  • 27.00% Vanguard Extended Market Index Fund (VEMPX)

  • 16.20% iShares Core MSCI EAFE ETF (IEFA)

  • 6.30% Schwab Emerging Markets Equity ETF (SCHE)

  • 9.00% Schwab US REIT ETF (SCHH)

  • 3.00% Vanguard Total Bond Market Index Fund (VBMPX)

  • 2.50% Vanguard Short-Term Bond Index Fund (VBIPX)

  • 3.50% Vanguard Short-Term Inflation-Protected Securities Index Fund (VTAPX)

  • 1.00% iShares Core International Aggregate Bond ETF (IAGG)

  • 0.00% Sallie Mae High Yield Savings Account
